Donald Scott Kayser Bio

Education:

  • Bs: Accounting Rutgers University 1986
  • Commissioned officer: Us Army National Guard, Army Reserve, Army 1985

Experience:
The Army instilled three traits into my personality. Discipline, honor, and initiative. Discipline helps me to run my business effectively and efficiently. Honor allows me to maintain a solid client base because I strive to "do the right thing" at all times, even if it means losing money on a job. Initiative gives me the desire to constantly improve processes, keep up with new technologies, and take advantage of opportunities to provide new and improved services to my customers.

The start of my civilian career was working at various accounting firms where I learned the nuts and bolts of running a business successfully. I then started a truck brokerage and trucking company in 1996. In 2004 in an effort to reduce fuel costs and more clean burning emissions, I learned how to make biodiesel out of used cooking oil. The market for used cooking oil increased in 2008 and soon thereafter formed Green Earth Biodiesel where we service restaurants by providing clean containers and reliable pickups of their used cooking oil. I realize the restaurants we service are our most valuable asset and we strive to be the finest used cooking oil collection service.
